We’re told to “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected.” To do so, we’ve had to change the way we communicate with our Museum members, volunteers, visiting public and our constituencies. Welcome to our working plan: “#MuseumFromHome”
We’re introducing our new Museum “blog” intended to keep you informed of Museum activities and efforts during these trying times. We may be working from home… a few of us will still be on-campus handling facilities issues, too.
Emphasis will be on communicating via social media and the website, while we maintain our “social distancing” in all matters including such tasks as: managing completion of the Education Center, responding to phone and email inquiries, maintaining the grounds, handling mail and deliveries, and completing such other tasks as required for a 90-plus-year-old historical and heritage destination entity. In other words, we’re still here although it’s NOT “business as usual.”
We invite you to check out the Museum Facebook page, which features virtual tour page links and our new #MuseumFromHome feature. Also, look for us on Twitter, Instagram and (soon) Pinterest. Check ’em out, and be sure to bookmark the Museum website.
Despite all the things happening around us, there’s always something happening at the Sharlot Hall Museum.
