Public Meeting Notice September 25, 2018

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
of the
Prescott Historical Society
Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Prescott Historical Society (an Arizona state agency) will meet on the 25th day of September, 2018, beginning at 4:00pm at the Sharlot Hall Museum Library and Research Center (Granite Creek Center), 115 S. McCormick St., Prescott, Arizona. The Board may go into Executive Session for the purpose of obtaining legal advice from its attorneys or to discuss personnel matters, items pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and A.R.S. § 38.431.03(A)(1). If the Board votes to go into Executive Session, the Executive Session will be held immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public. On completion of the Executive Session, the Committee may resume the meeting, open to the public, to address the remaining items on the agenda. The Board will discuss and may take action on any of the following items:

2. Approval of Minutes of the August 28, 2018, Board of Trustees meeting.

3. President’s Report – David Maurer

a. Board Orientation

4. Arizona Open Meeting and Public Records Law Presentation
– Nancy Jasculca (Office of the Attorney General)

5. Strategic Planning Committee Report – Kendall Jaspers, chair

6. Director’s Report, Facilities Update, Fred Veil, Executive Director

a. ADOA Building Renewal Projects Update

b. City of Prescott License Agreement

7. Agenda items for future meetings.

8. Call to the Public.

This is the time for the public to comment. Those wishing to address the Board of Trustees must register prior to the beginning of the meeting, and be recognized by the Chair. It is probable that each representation will be limited to no more than three (3) minutes and one (1) person per organization. Members of the Board of Trustees may not discuss items that are not specifically on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.01(H), action taken as a result of public comment on any topic not specifically listed on the agenda will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or scheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later time.
