NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Board of Trustees of the Prescott Historical Society (an Arizona state agency) will convene via telecommunications on the 23rd day of June, 2020, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The Board may go into Executive Session for the purpose of obtaining legal advice from its attorneys on any of the listed agenda items pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3). If the Board votes to go into Executive Session, the Executive Session will be held immediately after the vote and will not be open to the public. On completion of Executive Session, the Committee may resume the meeting, open to the public, to address the remaining items on the agenda. The Board will discuss and may take action on any of the following items.

AGENDA

1.  Call to Order.

2.  Review and Approval of the Minutes of the March 26, 2020, Board of Trustees meeting.

3.  President’s Report, Mark Schiavoni, president.

4.  Nominations Committee Report, Ben Andre, chair.

a.  Report on results of election of Board members for three-year terms beginning July 1, 2020.

b.  Report on results of election for a member of the Nominations Committee for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2020.

c.  Nomination of Board officers for Fiscal Year 2021.

5.  Director’s Report, Fred Veil, executive director.

a.  Museum Reopening, June 5, 2020.

b.  Granite Creek Center HVAC.

c.  Visitor Orientation Center update.

6.  Agenda items for future meetings.

7.  Call to the Public.

Notice: The public may attend this meeting by calling (928) 277-2008 for access instructions.  This is the time for the public to comment. Those wishing to address the Board of Trustees must register prior to the beginning of the meeting, and be recognized by the Chair. It is probable that each representation will be limited to no more than three (3) minutes and one (1) person per organization. Members of the Board of Trustees may not discuss items that are not specifically on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.01(H), action taken as a result of public comment on any topic not specifically listed on the agenda will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or scheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later time.
