Patrick Smith

Born on the Navajo Reservation, Patrick attended Yavapai College and the University of Arizona. After crafting old-style jewelry for several years using traditional techniques learned from his family, he acquired more advanced metalsmithing techniques that could enable him to create the exciting, contemporary jewelry styles he envisioned.

He earned his Bachelors in Fine Arts and Master of Arts degrees at Northern Arizona University. He later won an Arlene Feddes Fellowship for Excellence in Art from the Southwestern Association of Indian Arts, and his art was purchased for display at the British Museum in London.
