“The Tales That Lay Before Us” Summer Theater Camp

The Tales that Lay Before Us invites students to explore frontier folklore through the colorful world of the stage. Open to kids ages 8-14, the 5-day summer camp takes place June 20 to June 24 at the Sharlot Hall Museum.

These young artists will be working in collaboration with fellow campmates to breathe life into reader’s theater scripts based on the real people, places, and events of Territorial Prescott. The week will end with a Friday showcase of their artistry for a private audience of family members and a celebration of their achievements. Enrollment is limited (24 spots), so register today!

The camp will run from 9 am – 4 pm Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24. Program fee covers the cost of all program materials, morning and afternoon snacks for all five days, and lunch on Friday. Participants will need to supply their own lunch Monday through Thursday.

Program fees are $110/per youth for members and $130/per youth for non-members. Members: please register with our Admissions office via phone at (928) 277-2000 to take advantage of special member pricing (discount not available online).
