“Camp Curation” Youth Camp

March 14 at 9:00 am - March 17 at 4:00 pm

$95.00 – $110.00

As Pablo Picasso once said, “Give me a museum and I’ll fill it.” At Camp Curation, kids are the artists…and curators! The Sharlot Hall Museum is hosting an all-new youth camp March 14-17, 2023 for children ages 8-14.

Throughout the week, campers will explore different artistic techniques and use them to create their own art pieces. They’ll craft sculptures, write poetry, paint canvases, and more—and then curate their works into an exhibition at the end of the week showing off their artwork to a private audience of friends and family. Enrollment is limited (16 spots), with registration opening January 10. Mark your calendars!

The camp will run from 9 am – 4 pm Tuesday through Friday. The program fee covers the cost of all program materials, afternoon snacks for all four days, and lunch on Friday. Participants will need to supply their own lunch, Tuesday through Thursday.

Program fees are $95/youth for members and $110/youth for non-members. Registration is available online, by phone at (928) 445-3122 ext. 0, or in person at Admissions.
